Nelson V. Dela Cruz (b. 1985) took up Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Music Education at the Philippine Normal University. At present, he serves as conductor of Himig Roseña, the school’s cultural ambassador for choral singing and the conductor of the Dr. Yanga’s Colleges Inc.
Nelson gained his Choral training as a member of the Philippine Normal University Chorale under the tutelage of Prof. Luzviminda B. Modelo. He joined the group’s delegation in International Competitions such as the 2005, 2006 and 2010 Busan Choral Festival and Competition in Korea, 2008 Festival Internacional de Musica de Cantonigros and 2008 Certamen Intenacional de Habaneras y Polifonia in Spain, and 2010 Institut Teknologi Bandung International Choral Competition in Indonesia.
As the founding choirmaster of Himig Roseña, he led the group in their quest for laurels in both local and international competitions. In his directorship, Himig Roseña won Gold and Silver diplomas at the 2013 A Voyage of Songs Choral Competition and three Gold Diplomas at 2015 Vietnam International Choir Competition. The group also won several local competitions such as the annual CMLI Voices in Harmony Competition, Musica FEUROPA European Union Choral Competition, National Music Competitions for Young Artists, and the Manila Broadcasting Company Choral Competition.

Phoebe A. Bitoon (b. 1990) graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, Major in Choral Conducting from the University of the Philippines.
She is currently the conductor of Himig Roseña, the cultural ambassador for choral singing of Colegio de Sta. Rosa-Makati. Himig Roseña has been invited to perform in different events and has been joining prestigious competitions; in 2016, under the guidance of Ms. Phoebe, the group bagged the most coveted championship of CMLI Voices in Harmony.
She also serves as Conductor for UP Cursor Choir and Asia Minors Choir. Phoebe had been the assistant conductor of Mr. Eudenice Palaruan and soon became the interim conductor of Union Church of Manila Chancel Choir.
Not only is she known as a conductor but also as a chorister, singer and a music teacher. Phoebe acquired choral training by joining various groups such as UP Dawani Women’s Choir under the tutelage of Dr. Beverly Shangkuan-Cheng. She was also a guest member of the Ateneo de Manila College Glee Club from 2007-2011 that qualified for the European Grand Prix under the baton of Ms. Marlou Hermo. She was a member of Asia Pacific Youth Choir 2015 that has sung in Milan and 2015 IFCM World Choral Expo held in Macau. Moreover, Phoebe serves as the resident singer of UP Jazz Ensemble and Big Jazz Balloon.
